Kevin ArvinIn 1988 after 5 years of working in several jobs including welding, blaster in a coal mine, and a machine operator in a woodworking factory, Kevin Arvin decided to further his education and went to ITT Technical Institute where he received a degree in Electronics Engineering. Following two years with Pilliod, Kevin went back into the service field as a FSR for Delmac Machinery Group. During an installation of two double-end tenoners at The Hon Company in Muscatine, Iowa Kevin was offered a position with The Hon Company as Wood Technologies Engineer working directly for the Vice-President of Wood Case Goods. While at Hon Kevin gained valuable experience in lean manufacturing theory and implementation. His responsibilities included new machinery purchasing, implementation, process flow and improvement, operator training, and plant layout.

In 1998 Kevin accepted a position with Gabbiani GDG of Podenzano, Italy as a Sales Manager for all English speaking countries. While in this position Kevin lived in Italy and worked directly with the factory as a liaison between the factory and the many distributors of Gabbiani throughout the world.

After living 18 months in Italy, Kevin returned to the United States and became the Gabbiani Product Manager for Delmac Machinery Group. As the Gabbiani PM Kevin was responsible for all aspects related to the sales and installation of Gabbiani single and double end tenoners.

In December of 2003, after encouragement from several customers, Kevin started OTB Machinery Inc.
